The Core Difference: A Security Suite vs. A Free Phone Number
Saily is NordVPN's eSIM spin-off, built by the same company (Nord Security), and every plan ships with ad blocking, malware/phishing site blocking, and a virtual-location tool included. It also sells one universal eSIM that keeps working as you cross into a new supported country, rather than a separate profile per region.
AloSIM's point of difference is a free international phone number through a partnership with Hushed, set up separately inside the AloSIM app after you buy a plan. It's not a swap for your real number, but it's useful for receiving a verification text or giving out to a hotel abroad. AloSIM also sells both fixed-data and unlimited plans on its own site, so you get that choice without switching providers.

Two Things Worth Knowing Before You Decide
Saily is currently blocked from being purchased or topped up while you're physically inside Turkey. It's one of several eSIM providers, alongside Airalo and Holafly, hit by a mid-2025 block from Turkey's telecom regulator (BTK). An eSIM bought and installed before you land still works once you're there; you just can't buy or top up in-country. We haven't seen AloSIM named in the same reporting, but if Turkey is on the itinerary, the safer move either way is to buy and install before you land.
AloSIM's refund guarantee only covers eSIMs that never activate. If your eSIM won't connect or your phone turns out incompatible, AloSIM will refund it. Once you've activated a plan and started using data, that window closes even if you've barely touched your allowance. Saily's refund policy is similar in spirit (full refund if never installed, or if you've used under 1% of the data), so neither provider is generous once a plan is genuinely in use.

Can I get a refund on either if I don't end up using the data
