It's a public code rather than one of ours (RedteaGO doesn't run the kind of affiliate program that supports our own code the way some other providers on this site do), and RedteaGO's own site doesn't advertise it directly, so this is the best rate we've verified.
What Actually Makes RedteaGO Different
RedteaGO's real pitch is the starting price, not a feature list. Its own shop advertises eSIMs from as little as $0.52 for a Europe-wide (37-country) plan, $0.70 for a US, Japan, or Thailand plan, and $2.90 for a global (130+ area) plan, all across a claimed 180+ countries and regions. Those are entry-level, smallest-data-tier prices rather than what a typical traveler ends up paying, so check the actual GB amount before assuming the headline number is your final one, but even accounting for that, RedteaGO is routinely one of the cheapest per-GB options on this site.
We checked RedteaGO's own homepage and FAQ directly and had to correct our own earlier description of it here: this is not a full voice-and-SMS provider by default. See below.

Most Plans Are Data-Only, Not "Complete Communication"
RedteaGO's own FAQ says plainly that "call and text services are only available in certain regions," and that plans supporting them are marked with a separate "Calls/Texts Available" label rather than being a standard part of every plan. There's also a distinct "Call & Text eSIM" package sold on its own, apart from the regular data plans. If you need a working phone number for calls or texts, don't assume any RedteaGO plan gives you one; check for that label on the specific plan you're buying first.
We also couldn't find any unlimited-data plan on RedteaGO's site: everything we saw is sold as a fixed data bucket (2GB, 5GB, and similar), not a flat unlimited allowance. What is confirmed sitewide is hotspot and tethering support, RedteaGO's FAQ states it's available "in all countries and regions," no exceptions by plan type.
